Try over 1000 hours ref. U.S. Navy FTM-4001 salt fog solution test. The advanced galvanic corrosion inhibitor incorporated enriches the barrier coat surface like no other.
Awesome in sandy, dusty conditions because the grease is polished in until not visible. The finish is not oily, which is a dust magnet. Instead, accumulation just slides right off with a hard tap or washes off with a canteen splash instantaneously.

Obex Prime is built for extreme pressure and load bearing based on our proprietary fluoropolymer material because these specially prepared spherical four micron sized particles are literally the perfect fit to fill in the microscopic pores in the metal surface which are then smoothed out while the treatment handles the inbound pressure from banging and sliding contact between the two metal surfaces.

Obex Prime is also available in a non-aerosol pressurized can spray format for easily applying a thin, even layer to larger gun steel surfaces that usually just need a wipe down, though as a storage medium, the spray will be awesome for mothballing your investment in valuable hardware. You can also improvise and simulate by putting the grease into a plastic spray bottle with 91%+ isopropyl alcohol. Just shake and spray. Pretty cool huh?
Of course, we challenge any skeptic to decide on their own if this is, in fact, the best gun lube they have ever used. It can be a bit of a blind item especially if you don't experience any problems, but if you are an active sport shooter, you can literally feel the difference.
NOTE: For best results, thorough remove pre-existing lube and solvent residue, and powder residue and hard buildup of course, before applying Obex Prime. That's because whatever makes contact with the metal owns the performance. Besides, solvent residue by its nature is designed to destroy lubricant. That isopropyl alcohol makes for a good surface preparation. If the cotton comes up amber or in any color than you still have solvent residue until it wipes clean. And, of course, the alcohol evaporates quickly for you, so go to your pharmacy to pick up a bottle of the 91%+ medical grade IPA because the 73% is too watery.

Obex Prime is technically a grease but it has such a light consistency it is more like cold cream and closer to oil. Needless to say, not a true grease.
Apply a base coat which should be polished in until invisible, literally, or show a gloss finish for high wear parts or gun storage. Don't over-lubricate. Like car polish, you don't want the haze but the polished finish.
