When the Tetra Gun care brand got started in 1985, if not earlier, that set the tone for over four decades as a manufacturer of firearm lubricant and gun cleaning products that are respected worldwide. All of the Engineered Materials Inc. (EMI) chemicals are proudly Made in the USA including some of the most proprietary and specialized top-quality ingredients money can buy from the chemical industry. The end result is a guarantee that every lube or cleaner item is going to work as advertised because of the attention to detail.

EMI, makers of the original synthetic, fluoropolymer gun grease and gun lubricant products, is a real manufacturer with production facilities in both North Carolina and New Jersey. The company holds two dozen proprietary formulas that are managed in production and by the testing services. None of the Tetra Gun care maintenance products are copies of other brands of gun care and EMI doesn't just put their name on randomly sourced products. There is a difference when you actually physically produce materials instead of slapping a label on a drum from somewhere else. It tells the consumer that we have the strongest knowledge of what goes into every bottle and can.

EMI President Greg Cohen has been running the Tetra Gun care business for well over a decade now after more than a decade of vast sales and marketing knowledge and experience with the similar class of products from Mil-Comm Products Co., giving him more experience than possibly anyone in the firearms industry, as well as other related sports and industry. He also delivered on private label projects for related firearm maintenance brands.

The point is that there is no substitute for experience, know-how and understanding of the ins and outs of producing products and educating gun owners on gun care related products.
