This is a grease (a very light grease) but it doesn't feel like it, nor should it be used like one. You only need minimal polishing application for best results.  Don't waste it.  Carbon fouling wipes off so easy after a shoot and the lube is still there acting as a barrier in the substrate of the metal.  Industry best.
