Nylon is a good alternative to a bronze brush rod attachment when you only have light fouling and you want to scrub more gently.

Gentle nylon bristles wound tightly on a brass core fitting for light carbon fouling removal. Nylon will not harm the barrel. Durable & reusable. Made with white nylon so powder residue can be easily seen and cleaned off before using again.  Use with a light bore cleaner or bore solvent to scrub more effectively. Please note, a strong solvent will dissolve the nylon.

Recommended to follow up with a cotton mop or cotton patches run down the bore to pick up remaining fouling residue, or to apply gun lube.

Just be careful with bore solvent which is better suited for use with bronze brushes. However, the Tetra Gun water based detergent cleaner degreaser or carbon cleaner formulas will work just fine with nylon bore brushes.
